I'm with Clint on this one, no point in starting out tired.
It's about a 3 hour ride for me, so even if I left at 8, I could still be there by 11.
It gets dark at about 8 at that time of year, so if we plan on eating lunch there, it would still give us 8 hours of daylight to get past Indy before dark, and even if we fall a little short of Indy on the first day, the second day should still be a shorter one.
