Default Bike dies after 10 mins

Hey guys, i have a 96 katana 600gsxf. I have never had any problems with it at all until last summer. I used to be able to put the bike on choke, and it start within 1 - 2 seconds. Now it takes about 10 seconds while on choke to start it.

I clean the carbs every year, and this problem started all of a sudden.

Now when I start the bike, leave it on choke to warm up, and then take it off choke it will eventually die. I can leave choke half way on, and it will sit there and idle all day long (literally). I can ride the bike and take the choke off, but after about 15 to 20 minutes it acts like it's starving for gas or something and tries to die soon as I let go of the throttle. Then it's kind of difficult to start again.

I've taken it to the suzuki dealer several times spending several hundred dollars and them stealing my brand new spark plugs that i spent $7ea for and replacing it with the cheap $1.50/ea. ones. They can't figure it out, they've taken and cleaned the carbs (which they said were already clean) and adjusting them.

I do have a mercury gauge to adjust all four carbs. I have replaced the ECU module. I just purchased a used 98 carburetor hoping it would work on my 96 model but have noticed that i may need a longer throttle cable.

I'm out of ideas. Can someone give me some ideas as to where to proceed next or what you may think could be the prob?

Thanks!
