 Passing lamps
I ask my dealer the same question. The Yamaha lamps for the liners' are designed to have all the bulbs lit all the time. Yours are working the way they were designed to work.
On a side note, Yamaha's wiring sucks. My first time my lamps blew a fuse that shut off the passing lamps. The second time they blew the fuse to my headlight and the passing lamp. Of coarse, I was driving at night when this happened. At that point my dealer took out all the wiring and rewired them himself. I've not had a problem since then. Now, He rewires all the Liner passing lamps before he installs them.
