Default What Tweaks/Mods Have U Done (Or Planning)?

This was discussed for bikes in general in another thread. However, this is more detailed and I'm also curious about the expected outcome of the changes others might be making. For my Bee:

1) Timing Retardation Elimintator (gi-pro TRE). This allows full power in all gears and overrides Suzuki's pre-programmed ECU timing retardation. From the reports this "fixes" the slight 1/4 mile disparity between the 'Busa and the Bee. Some have even speculated that it will give a slight 1/4 mile advantage to the Bee due to the Bee's existing low-end power bias in intake and exhaust systems.

Additionally, gi-pro includes a gear position indicator that always reads the correct gear whether or not the TRE is switched on or off. Cheaper TREs, when "on" cause the built-in gear indicator to always read 4th gear (on the Bee....5th gear on most other Suzukis).

Another issue with a TRE is the effect it has on engine warm-up. The gi-pro is switchable and can be turned off for start and warm-up and/or for innappropriate road conditions (e.g. rain, casual riding, commuting, etc.)

2) Micron Carbon Fiber exhaust cans. Reportedly give up to a 7hp, 4.7 ft./lb. boost to the Bee without affecting low-end power or needing the addition of a PCIII. Saves about 11 lbs. At about $1500, this will probably have to wait until next year.

3) PCIII if the current testing and mapping indicates an advantage. Right now the jury is still out. Stay tuned (so to speak). Some folks maintain that the 2008 B-King and 'Busa ECUs are Suzuki's absolute best yet. Allegedly highly adaptable and able to handle many hardware upgrades without requiring re-mapping by a PCIII. Time will tell.

4) Windscreen. Right now the Bee's headlight shroud allows for acceptable wind blast at highway speeds. Much over 75-80 mph and it begins to feel pretty ferocious. The new screen (somewhat larger than a flyscreen) is supposed to improve blast without increasing head buffeting.

5) Carbon fiber airboxes. Maybe not much of a performance improvement (supposedly more "ram" effect at higher speeds....not that it would be very useful), but a definite appearance and weight improvement.

That's it for the actual mods that "tweak" performance. The rest I've made are for comfort and/or electronics.
