If I remember correctly your Buell is a "dual-sport" on/off pavement bike. A lot more versatile than a super-standard.
Get a Bee or a K1200R off the road and I'd bet we'd sink like a rock. My Bee gets testy even when encountering a bit of sand or gravel. I can't even imagine (nor do I want to find out) what it would do on a trail. At 580 lbs. wet, I'd be like a beached whale floundering in the sand (essentially an 181 hp "brick").
