Which part of TX? I lived in San Antonio and Houston ( not at the same time tho!!
) and can honestly say that in terms of heat and humidity Houston is generally worse than Memphis but San Antonio is generally a bit milder than Memphis.
San Antonio will reach higher ambient temperatures but the air will be a bit less saturated than the average humidity level of Memphis.
