I was riding, minding my own business, when an extended cab, extended bed pickup truck pulls out to make a left turn across my lane. There was no middle island where he could have pulled to, so I don't know what he was thinking. The truck was so long it took up both of my possible lanes and most of the bike lane. The worst part was he wasn't even looking at traffic coming his way. I did some emergency braking, locked up the rear a bit but was able to stop until he could make the left turn. What a retard. Some people just shouldn't be on the road.
