Update:
A couple of services back. I complained to the dealership about excessive dive while braking.
The solution??? The eighteen year old tech that weighs all of ninety pounds soaking wet, decided to dial in his favorite settings that he read somewhere in a magazine, on my adjustable suspension.
I don't wanna say the bike ended up handling like complete crap. But all the Buell literature clearly points to you setting the SAG for your weight on the bike to further enjoy it. For some reason, when I got the bike back from the tech, I never went right back to fixing it.
So.....I've lost some weight lately. I pull out the manual to see if I need to make changes, and I remember that I got me some "custom" settings courtesy of the tech. I reset everything to zero, and started over.
All I can say is "WOW!!!!"
When I first adjusted the suspension last year, my skills were more toward the cruiser side of things. I thought it was an awesome suspension. Then the tech changed it. I apparently altered my riding style to compensate. Now that I'm completely used to the bike, I started noticing some shortcomings in the suspension.......Until I set it up again........Man o' man......
