While you're at it (nice hands, by the way
), try putting a piece of masking tape on each 'side' of the cat.
Putting it down their backs will make them think something is above them, and they will stoop down on their bellys.
Putting it on one of their sides (left or right) will cause them to think they are rubbing up against something unpleasant, and they'll stagger sidways.
Putting it down their belly makes them think there's something underneath them. This one seems to be the funniest!
Sometimes, I'll fart on them to make the wife laugh . . . but I don't think they notice.
