Do not ride with emotions!!!
Knowing that is was going to rain today in southern california, I took my bike out for a ride last night... I was feeling good, and streets were full of fast cars and people that wanted to play with me " but i didn't" tickets are not fun. I was riding and doing everything right when a car hoped in my lane and stopped because it wanted to go to dang mcdonalds. After tasting my heart beat i noticed i could not dodge right because cars were on the side of us. I braked and did a HUGE indo on the street. After doing this i wanted to give the driver a piece of my mind but you never know what people would do, being the bigger man i drove off and accidently did the best but stupidiest wheelie of my life. A motorcycle cop pulled me over and checked my papers. He sent a squad car to pull over the other guy. He said he understood the indo but did not understand the wheelie, i told him i held in the clutch while braking and did not let off until i was revving pretty high on accident. He simply said ok... "thank GOD" and said to be careful because i have a powerful bike and when not in full alert i have a unguided missle. He liked the 3 mode levels on the throttle and said at first he was going to crack my a** for having nos shots . Almost a perfect story but hey, no ticket. I would like to thank yall for telling me to take it slow because i know i drove fast in the past. 2nd gear was 85 for me a few times and thats not even redlining. After reading so many threads i noticed that i can be a whole lot safer by observing and being prepared... and most of all slowing down. Fourtanetly I can just imagine what would have happen if i was not prepared to stop like that.
