Great unit!!! It is glove friendly, has a windshield mount for your cage and a mount for the bike. Comes with a wire so you can hardwire it to your bike if you like. Battery power lasts about 4 hours.
Screen is larger than most so it is easier to read while riding. Little pricey but I am glad I bought it. Supposed to be waterproof. Haven't tested that theory. But it is vibration resistant. Which if they are going to be putting it on a Harley that is a good thing. |
I have the Zumo 450, and have used it for about 9 months now both in my truck, and on the bike.
Some other bike friendly units have all the same features, but they don't have the same antenna, and will loose their signal quite easily, with the Zumo I can still get a signal inside a concrete building that doesn't even have any windows. The GPS signal isn't like your radio, most units require a clear view of the sky to work, they have to have line-of-sight with the satellites, so having the better antenna of the Zumo is very important.
