My V-Max has developed a problem with its headlight. It should come on when the main switch is turned on. But, it doesn't. Then, after a few minutes it will come on by itself and usually stays on. Wiggling the key doesn't seem to matter, nor does smacking the headlight a few times. I've have had inconsistent results with turning the bike off (after it had been running a few minutes) and turning the switch back on. It comes on immediately - once in a while - after I do something like that, but not very often. I'm thinking it's a resistance problem of some sort. Either bad ground, bad relay, or bad main switch. But doubt it's the lamp itself. Both beams are good once they light up. Any thoughts or experience dealing with this kind of problem would be appreciated.
