Yeah, I read that review also and almost didn't buy the TourMasters because of it. But I did a bit more research and found some posts on other forums that were very favorable. I found enough favorable reviews/posts to outweigh the negative one on WebBikeWorld. And for the price that includes everything you need (wiring, controller) as opposed to the Widders and Gehrbings I figured it was a gamble I was willing to take on the TourMasters. I have been very satisfied. My hands have not even noticed the temps into the mid-30s. Here in Atlanta it hasn't gotten into the teens since I got the gloves so I can't comment from direct experience on how effective they'd be at that temp, but I intend to use them if it gets that cold here (provided there's no ice).
