It's kind of late notice, and I apologize for that, but I'll mention this anyhow.

This Saturday, December 1st, I'm taking part in a pretty cool event. I won't go into all the details regarding Snowball Express itself, you can google it. They are all about the children of military members who died in action since 9/11/01.

This Saturday over a thousand of these kids and their (mostly) mothers are coming to Southern California for a huge party put on by Oakley, and a day at Disneyland. There are many sponsors involved to make it cost free for these families.

What we (bikers) are doing is meeting the families at 14 different area hotels, loading them on buses and escorting the buses to the Oakley facility. The meet place is the Walmart in Foothill Ranch, and the meet time is 7:00am. After getting the families to the Oakley facility, we will be going to Cook's Corner for lunch.

This is only the second year for this run, and photos from last year's look like a good time. The streets along the route near Oakley will be lined with folks showing these families that they are cared about.
