 Katana 600 starter prob
ok its a 90 katana 600. just fixed my leaky petcock diaphram. and drained all the oil outta my crankcase twice. boom dead battery . jumped it ran fine all day so i thought i charged battery enough to start later but it started turning over then started to click , so i jumped it and it kept clickling like one click per push of the button but finally started. so i took battery out and trickle charged it for 9 hrs at 6amp charge and it was a new battery before i tried starting a flooded engine. . put back in next day and now nothing but one click per button push i can kinda hear a whine like the starter is trying to rotate but cant spin. my question is what is the expert opinion of this great forum i came across. is the selonoid bad ,the relay bad thestarter motor bad . please help. this site has helped so many times Ride On Katana
