I hear what your saying about the cold, I feel the same way, but cold/slippery blacktop is a whole nother thing.
I think I had better go out again today, da wedder man say it gonna snow tonight. Bridge, what bridge? I thought it fell in the river a couple months ago. I "found" a couple nice twistie roads today, cr22 & cr21 out of Cold Spring/Richmond. I think these are Clint's roads though. I don't mind cold blacktop it's the paint and soft shoulders that scare me. Yes, your are a woos, or is it wuss? Try one of these next time
