I ride all winter too but my lowest limit will be about 40. I use tons of those hot patches stuck all over myself to keep me warm. Usually they stay warm for the whole day.

I even use small sized ones to stick inside my gloves. They are winter gloves but my hands get all numb and start hurting when they're too cold.
