Anyone have any cool surprise anniversary stories? It's coming up to our 8th wedding anniversary in a couple weeks and I'm trying to get some ideas but have a semblence of a plan coming together.

I have our babysitter ready to come and take care of the kids overnight and the plan would be to get dropped off at the airport and then fly to Vegas (about 4.5 hours including layovers) and then hopefully get a quick bite to eat before catching a show - probably "Ka" and then spend the evening in the hotel - probably the MGM grand and then fly back to Eugene the next morning.

What do you folks think?

We've never been to Vegas so I think it could be a fun quick trip.
