The dragon probably used to be a fun road, I went there about 2 months ago. There were WAY too many cops, and WAY too much traffic.

THIS is my favorite road for "spirited" riding. MySpaceTV: ZRX's by Some Guy Whatever you do, keep it safe. Like others said already, the gap has just got too much negative attention lately. Too many maniacs ruining it for others. I got passed quite a few times in blind corners and in unsafe areas while riding in a group on "the dragon".

It is my opinion that if you really want to, then you SHOULD go ride Deal's Gap. Just don't treat it like a race track and the police won't bother you. I rode it at the speed limit and 5-7mph over and I never got hassled by "the man". I also never passed on the double yellow, never crossed the center line, didn't wheelie, stoppie, or burn-out. But I had a great time.
