I'm still in, sorta...

I've been active duty coast guard now for 5 years, I'm an E-4 (I haven't really found a niche yet). I am switching over to the Army here in a few weeks to give that a go. In the Coast Guard I was first a Machinery Technician and then a Marine Science Technician. In the Army I will be a Health Care Technician (Field Medic) and hopefully I can get my LPN cert straight out of the shoot so if I decide to get out in a few years I'll at least be empolyable. I have been stationed in Valdez, AK and Detroit, MI both are shore units, I have never been on a boat for more than 2 hours in 5 years.
