Well first I wish to say Hello, and looks like a nice place you all have here. I am an avid member on a truck forum and look forward to being on here as well.
History, I've been riding for the better part of 20 years, (I'm 32 Yrs old) And Have owned or ridden quite a few sport bikes, and standard bikes. R1,R6,GSXR750,ZX750r,Bandit 1200, etc..etc... Lol
A few years back My wife & I sold our bikes to venture into sport quads, still have them ('03 Cannondale mine, Blaster 200 wife's)
Anyways the yearn for a bike has not left me. So within the next week or so I'm looking to buy a used bike. Thinking of either a '03-'06 Kawi z1000 or a '01-'05 Suz Bandit 1200.
I have a lot of saddle time in a similar bandito but it was my buddies. I have not yet ridden a Z1000. I like to have fun, being dumb and wheelie a lot.
The one thing about the bandit I hated was it was a large, long bike. Which is why the kawi is looking good to me.
Anybody here care to share their thoughts to help me out? Sorry for the novel, & Thanks in Advance! Greg
