 Mixing oil
Well I have some leftover oil from the last few oil changes and was figuring on mixing it. The are the same brand etc but one is fortified synthetic and the other is just synthetic. I rang 3 different dealers and got different opinions each time. My take on it that the oils have a different viscosity so all you are doing is altering the viscosity slightly and since I have run both types previously then what harm can there be?? I mean its just oil right?
For interest one is Shell Advance SX 4 stroke synthetic fortified and the other is Shell Advance VSX 4 stroke full synthetic.
