If you take the Motorcyle Safety Foundation course, not only will you learn some great techniques for staying alive, but, in some states, you dont have to take the 'driving' portion of the motorcycle license test. I believe here in Texas it works like that.
It is a great learning experience, and I cannot say how glad I am that I took it!
