First let ME say that I am NOT critisizing your riding technique.

Just throwing this out there to think about. Many (too many) years ago, I started scraping the pegs in corners where it never should have happened. After scratching my head for a few weeks, I realized that I had somehow gotten into the habit of not leaning my body into the turns at all.....or very little. As a result, the bike was leaning MORE to achieve the right center of gravity for the turn.

Don't know how or why I picked up that bad habit (after riding for almost 20 years) but I had to consciously re-train myself to shift MY weight first; then of course, the bike didn't lean nearly as much.

P.S. You might find that those little things that scrape first are dome-topped nuts that hold the peg/floor board together!!
