I'm looking at buying one from this guy that's posted it on craigslist. I got him down to $1500 from $2000, nothing confirmed though because I haven't seen it in person yet. It's got 32K miles... and it's been "converted" to a naked bike.
1) Is it worth that much?
2) How much would it cost to restore it to a fully faired beauty?
3) If/when I go take a look at it, what should I look out for?
This would be my 3rd bike... my first bike was a '94 Honda Magna (vf750), second bike was a '97 Triumph Trident 900... I'm thinking it's about time for a "sportbike"...but I don't want to pay big money for one
