So i found out what the problem was. Although the recall applies to my bike, it has not been affected. It seems that a rock has hit a wire and severed it. The shop found it and soldered it for me, took them two hrs to find it and complete. On the voice mail they left me, they said they recommended a new harness, but when I called back, they said it was 700 bucks, and that the solder should be good enough, and it was just something that a dealership says. But they are doing my valves for 100 bucks too.. so 250 bucks and im back on the road with no more cutting out and a valve job. Thinking i did pretty well!
