Hi everybody, my name is Dave and I am a newbie at this site. I hope somebody will be able to help me with my s-40. Ever since I bought it it has backfired, Iv'e gotten into it with the dealer that sold me the bike about the backfiring. They tell me that thats the way it is. Needless to say I don't believe them. There has to be a way to make it stop. I love the bike alot, it's fun around town and looks nice. But I get dirty looks from people when it backfires.( it's LOUD) Does anyone know what I should do to fix it? I can do the work myself I just need to know what size jets to use or ?? It may need.
I'm in San Diego at almost sea level. I know that matters when tunning.
