 Wet M-50 wont start!
Hey everyone, new to the forums today. Someone suggessted that I find a group for riders of the M-50 and right now is the perfect time, I need some help!
I ride alot in the rain, and today was no exception. Its rained up here pretty crazy over the last couple days and my bike kinda sat there. So today i fired it up and took it for a 1 hr drive to my parents house, was there for about and hr and went to leave, in the pouring rain, and it wouldnt start. The bike will turn on (the fuel injection did not kick in, and the clock wouldnt show, but the back light lit up) and the engine tried to turn over but did not work. I waited about 5 and tried it again, it started, but when I revved the engine, it died. I turned it off, put the key in my pocket, and called the gf to tell her id be late. I then saw the spedometer go from 0-220 and back to 0. I tried the bike again, it worked, revved and it stopped. I left it at my parents, im sure it will start tomorrow when its dried. Any ideas on how to fix this or find out whats wrong? I dont want to have to drive my car at all in the summer...
