I think that my next bike will be a standard/sport tourer. I saw a 93 Suzuki vx800 recently and really liked it, but the 31.5 inch seat height with it on the center stand was as about as high I could get my leg over with my bad knees, which also why I need something with mid mounted controls to ease up the angle that my knees are.
From everything I've read, it looks like the 650 vstrom would be a good choice, but anyone know of a lowering kit that would lower it some (obviously not too low, that would be countrary to the bikes purpose)?
Would the 650 be okay for some one let's say is on the unhappy side of 275?
