Bought one about a month ago....refurbished for $200 off of Ebay. Sealed in box. Got the adapter for my FZ1 Ram mount and it looks great. Put in on and tried it out......washed out in direct sunlight. Very difficult to see.
I talked to a GPS tech and he said that this particular Tom Tom would not be great on a bike because of its fragile digitizer (the thing that operates the touchscreen, I think) He said he said he had several he was repairing for that problem, so I should use this one in my car instead of the bike.
So....I just got a Garmin 2610 in......$239 refurb with guarantee. Loaded it with a 2 GB card. Magnificent!!
I like the fact that the Tom Tom has a battery....no hookup.

But the Garmin 2610 seems to have it beat.
