I'm not sure if the bike I rode is a 06, or 07, I think it's a 06, but I'll check with the dealer and find out.

The coment about the suspension settings makes scense, the one I rode was very stiff, so it was very likely set on it's firmest position, and could be the reason for the wind buffeting i felt.

The low rpm response from both the Lighting, and the Uly I rode was excelant, parking lot riding was all done with out any clutch slipping, and when I ran it down to 35 mph in 5th gear, it still pulled with out any bogging, or coughing. If you are needing to slip your clutch in turns, there may be something out of wack in your ECU. As I said before, I would love to have that motor in my Strom.
