rough topic to start up on again. biggest part of the arguement is SNELL vs DOT. it could go on for days.
Personally, racers use SNELL approved helmets and do much more than I do on the street. justification enough for me. I would think at some point it becomes a name and style and comfort thing over safety (as far as pric range goes)
