depending on how the oil lines are secured to the T, it might not hold together for long. i assume that this is a T-type of joint, and the oil flows along the straight section ----- with the sensor mounted in the _||_ section. i think the typical oil pressure is somewhere in the 50psi range (judging by typical aftermarket gauges), and it's usually kinda warm.

if he's using gardening type joints and clamps, i'd stand back with a handful of rags at the ready.
