I couldn’t disagree more.
During the week I plan out my trips and download them into the gps-r. When the trip comes up I put the unit into the cradle attach the power cord, select the route that was stored and I am off. It follows every road programmed no guess work. The screen displays exactly when the next turn is and if you’re familiar with the unit it should be as fast as checking the speedometer.
My unit is an oldie but still works well. The touch 3D color screens of these days are awesome and surely are less cumbersome to operate while riding.
