agreed for the most part, but this is the OFF TOPIC section, which in general on any forum allows the members to chatter about whatever they feel like, be it cornish hens or beer or guitars or .....
"Off topic" is off topic on just about ANY forum, and at least the OT chatter is confined to one defined section.
if OT should only be accessible to 'established members' to talk about things they want, then what defines an 'established member'? is there a post count that needs to be exceeded, or does a member need to get a 'reference' from another established member, or what?
OT is OT. if someone doesn't feel like the chatter that's here is reasonable, then don't read the OT topics! obviously, offensive material needs to be screened out no matter what, but cornish hens and beer are pretty tame OT subjects, i think.
i don't get it - just because some of us are new, we can't chatter in OT until the riding weather clears up? are we THAT inferior?
