I was hoping to rent a road king or fatboy. I pulled into the shop on a Sunday night and pretty much had my pick for the week, or so I thought. I called in the next morning with my decision and almost everything was scooped up. The shop found me an 07 Electraglide Classic. The other bike was the same model but an 06. Very nice bikes. My biggest priority was passenger comfort, not knowing how far we would ride. I think we got the best available for what we wanted to do. Cargo space was more than adequate with two side bags and a large trunk.
A cool feature that I did not know about was the how the radio volume increased and decreased with engine rpms. Self cancelling turn signals are also pretty addicting.
At this point I wouldn't run out and buy one, but I have no complaints about their performance or ride. I'll post some pics when I get a chance. I've got to install another program to resize pic's as irfanview doesn't work for me anymore.
