Check out the Garmin i Series. i2, i3, i5.
They use a ball socket joint to connect, are small, lightweight, non-touch screen, and relatively inexpensive. Abes of Maine usually has them for a good price.

Off the top of my head, Garmin and TomTom both make motorcycle specific GPS units. You can get RAM mounts for just about any unit, though.

Justin, 800 bones? Does it also sing and dance? Dang bud you paid a lot for that thing.
