I got some rather large bars from a local dealer in the UK.
The clutch cable can be re routed to gain around 6" so that should be fine, I made my longer throttle cables.. if you need info let me know, Ill be glad to assist in any way I can.
I too am a "shorty"
but now I ride upright and man its a different bike.
