 Suggestions
A friend and I are considering locations for our next bike trip. Originally we were considering maine, but have started discussing the smokey mountains area and a few other locations as far as colorado. We usually mix up the ride about 70% interstate and 30% back roads depending on how far we're going and how much time we have to get there (and back). We live near chicago in northern indiana and rather then just drawing a 1000 mile circle on a map and throwing a dart I figured I'd see what some of you guys prefer in your travel locations. Canada is pretty much out of the question as we went up there last year for a few days before all the new homeland security issues went into effect (at least until we get passports). Only thing we are adding to our gear this time is better communications. We got split up in cincinati one time and ended up taking separate vacations (LOL that's a story in itself). Guess i don't really care one way or another where we end up going it's always a good time. I'll be taking the S50 this time over the Rebel so I can carry a bit more gear and take advantage of a better windshield. Any suggestions are appreciated. thanks
