I'm not sure how octane is measured in India. If you use the same method as Europe (RON - research octane method) , you should probably be using 93 octane (regular).
As far as the FI light goes, as I mentioned above, there is a socket under the seat somewhere (I'm not sure where) that you can short-circuit so that the error code shows on the display. Once you know that code, you can post it here and someone may be able to give you more information how to interpret the code. I don't have a GSX-R, so I can't help you much beyond this.
