I noticed the same thing on the Street Glide I test rode. Funny thing is, it went away if I rode without a helmet, or even with anything but a full coverage helmet. The buffeting seems to be coming from the wind hitting the chin part of the helmet, I found the same to be the case on my V Strom.
I'm not trying to start a helmet debate here, just pointing out what I noticed.
Seems anytime I ride behind a windshield with a full coverage helmet, I get wind buffeting.
