lowering your bike is easy. The hardest part is getting the nuts loose. They are really tight. I had to take my exaust off to get them loose. It also helps if you have help. I didn't and it was hard holding the bolt on one side and loosening the nut on the other. I made my lowering bones. You need 2 pieces of steel 1/4 in. thick by about 1-1/2 in. wide. The length depends on how much you want to lower it. I think every 1/2 in. longer between the holes lowers it about 1 in. I saw in one of the forums there is a guy who sells lowering kits for $35.
