Okay, folks . . . One to think about.
The Hayabusa is named after the Japanese word for the Peregrine Falcon, because the bird flies at/near the top speed of the bike.
Question: (forget about the bike for a second) Does the Peregrine Falcon reach its limiting velocity due to it's aerodynamic thumbprint (it can't go any faster because of the way it's shaped), or due to the height at which it begins its dive (it can't go any faster because it runs out of air)? Hmmm?
[EDIT: I do not know the answer . . . I'm just throwing that out there because I know you guys will have some pretty interesting answers.
