Since the beginning of spring I've had the urge to move to a sport oriented motorcycle and I finally did today!!!
I traded my 05 M50 for a used 06 Yamaha FZ6 with 2300-ish miles. I got a deal that i could not resist. I have to admit that it was very sad riding the M50 for one last time. I almost held back handing the keys to the sales guy but most of my sadness went out the window once i was riding the Fz6. Everything about the FZ6 is awesome.
I did 10,000+ miles plus on the M50 less than a year and I loved every single mile of it, but it was time to move on. I learned a lot about motorcycles because of this forum and i still plan on visiting everyday even without the M50.
When i have time i plan on posting my M50 things for sale which are a Memphis hell cat windshield, engine guard, and sissy bar with luggage rack. I would have sold my thunder intake but didn't have enough time to take it off before the dealership closed, and I also had a cobra 2000 and jardines but it was part of the trade in deal.
I don't have a pic of the FZ6, but below is a pic of another FZ6 that looks like mine. Lucky enough the previous owner installed a double bubble windshield, frame sliders and a spoiler that goes on the motorcycle as shown in the pic. I would have preferred a blue Fz6 but i didn't have that option since it was used.
