Ahh, October again and another round of Octoberfest beers.

A review of a few:

Spaten Octoberfest, good malt flavor, not too much, excellent spicing, has a bit of a raisin aftertaste. Very good

Victory Octoberfest, a little less malt, a mild hops bitterness, sweet fruit finish. Ok, but I've had better

Sam Adams Octoberfest, good mix of hops and malt, nice bite with the spices, not a lot of fruit which is nice. One of my favorites (and I'm not a big fan of Sam Adams)

Stegmaier Octoberfest, local brewery that's been around here a while. again a good blend of hops and malt. Less spice than most Octoberfests. Not a fruity beer, again nice. Has a great finish with no lingering aftertaste. A great product, I was really pleased.
