Yup, two cats are certainly better than one. The older one was starting to get a little destructive, scratching up the furniture and eating the carpet, and would get very frustrated when I was busy and didn't run around the house so it could chase me. If I touched it it would want to wrestle my hand rather than being petted, and my hands and arms were scratched all to heck. She chewed EVERYTHING, and even peed in the dirty clothes pile once or twice. I added the second kitty, and all the bad behavior stopped. Both are wide-eyed, playful, and more loving than ever. I dropped plans to de-claw, as they use the scratching post and play with each other, rather than shredding my hand for fun. I laugh my butt off watching them race around the house, and hide behind things so they can jump out at the other one.
