Touching stories, DrBob. Although their beginnings have the potential to be tragic, it's thanks to you that the little kitties can spend the rest of their days in a warm and loving home.
My cat and I will be flying to Hawai'i in about 2 1/2 weeks. Unfortunately, upon arrival, she will be placed in quarantine for 4 months. Although I dread the thought of such a long separation, I think this may be the opportunity to look into adopting another cat and bringing both of them home at the same time. It pains me that my cat is lonely when I'm away, but it would be a joy to see two cats entertaining each other (and me) and having a good time.
