My friend would sometimes pick on me because I put my feet down when I make slow speed u-turns and such. Just remember, have your feet down for these type of turns because you will look really silly tipping over moving at 5 mph. I'd rather have my feet down to save my ego as well as the paint on my bike.
Advice: Practice in a parking lot with youe figure 8's a little more. Granted you already have but this is key to making those low speed u-turns. This can also save you from looking silly pulling outta a parking spot while a little kid waves at you because he likes your bike. You wouldn't wanna tip over in front of him would ya?
