Riding will become instinctual, but over time. I assume you've already played out the past scenario several times in your head. What do you think? The answer you're looking for is probably the first one you came up with. Given we don't know how wide the street was, your position on it, or how fast you were going, I don't think we'd be much help. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get back in the saddle. Don't let this one mishap get you down. We've all gone down at one time or another. Learn from your mistake and you'll know how to be better prepared next time you go up. Good luck in the future.
Chris THANK YOU, you are so right. Now that I have replayed that horrid event over and over in my head the last thing i remember before I went down was me looking at the curb for a fraction of a second(no exageration) and saying to myself " I dont want to hit that curb, let me look through my turn" then SPLATT I went down faster then a 2 dollar shaghai hooker. Thanks Chris for the booster upper.
