I was in Calgary, 84 & 85.
Spent 11 years in Whitehorse, then Hope, Inveremere, then Calgary.
Total of 17 years, then headed back to Vancouver, my hometown.

It had gone from a small city to one I found had grown way beyond expectations. I missed the green grass, even enjoy the rain.

I know what you mean about small towns, Hope and Inveremere were that for sure. Pass gas and the lady 8 blocks away would tell you about it.
